PQ+2 Editor - Amy Phung

PQ Editor: Amy Phung

Hi everyone!

I’m Amy (she/her) and I’m one of your PQ+2 editors! During my first year, my favorite activity while studying was… reviewing my notes! Just kidding. I loved looking through our PQ+2 magazines and seeing all of the stories and experiences my classmates and upperclassmen had to share! Going into my second year, I hope to offer that same sort of enjoyment (and opportunity for distraction) to all of you.

As a PQ+2 editor, I’m in charge of designing and writing articles for our quarterly magazine. In PQ+2, we talk about events going on in the faculty, celebrate accomplishments, and share experiences (both inside and outside of the pharmacy world). We also have my favorite addition to any magazine: puzzles (even better since they’re pharmacy-related!)

Before pharmacy, I completed a Bachelor’s of Education with a major in English Language Arts and a minor in Chemistry. During this first degree, I spent A LOT of time creating powerpoints, writing essays, and making things fun! PQ+2 is a great way I can continue to play around with these skills without having to mark for hours on end. I like to call that a win-win situation!

In my spare time, you can find me grabbing coffee, playing volleyball, climbing or hanging out with friends.

I’m looking forward to meeting new people so we can make new memories and share experiences altogether!

Reach out to me if you have questions about anything or if you just want to chat!
