LGBTQ+ PhSc Representative – APSA

Hello everyone! My name is Veronica and I am thrilled to be your LGBTQ+ Pharmacy Student Club (LGBTQ+ PhSc) Representative this year. 

I am currently going into my second year of Pharmacy (Class of 2025) and I couldn’t be more excited to see what this next year brings. 

Before starting the PharmD program last year, I completed a BSc in Psychology and an after-degree in Sociology here at the U of A. I have been attending this university for 8 years now, so I will always be more than happy to show anyone around or answer any questions you may have about our beautiful campus.

When I am not in classes or working, you can usually find me walking my dog Stevie, getting involved in new activities (my latest obsession is pickleball), and spending quality time with my wife and friends. 

As your LGBTQ+ PhSc Representative, I will be a bridge of communication between the club and APSA, making sure that the needs and concerns of our club and its members are heard. My goal in this role is not only to foster a close relationship between LGBTQ+ PhSc and APSA, but also to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to reach out to (whether its club related or not).
