Constitution and Policy Committee (VP Admin)

  • 3 student members (2 non-council, 1 council any year)
  • Update and maintain the Association’s constitution, policies, and regulations
  • Commitment: 1-2 meetings in March to review the constitution.

Awards Committee (VP Academic) 

  • 4 student members (one per class year)
  • Distribute, present, promote, implement, and revise the APSA awards as necessary
  • Review criteria for awards and nomination forms

Pharmacy Appreciation Month (PAM) Committee (VP External and CAPSI) 

  • 4 student members (one per class year)
  • Create, organize and promote educational seminars, or events, as required for PAM
  • Organize community events that promote pharmacy to the public
  • PAM takes place in March (some planning would take place in advance)

Run For The Cure (RFTC) Committee (CAPSI)

  • 4 student members (one per class year)
  • Create, organize and promote the Faculty’s team in the CIBC Run for the Cure with other fundraising events
  • Takes place approximately in mid-Sept-early October (some planning would take place in advance)

Space and Wellness Committee (VP Student Services)

  • 8 student members (1-2 members per class year)
  • Assist in organizing initiatives for student health and wellness throughout the year

Professionalism Committee (VP Academic) 

  • 1 student member (not on APSA’s council, any year)
  • Promoting professionalism to students in collaboration with the faculty
  • Updating and reviewing the Professionalism Policy

Movember Committee (VP External) 

  • 4 student members (one per class year)
  • Plan and implement APSA sponsored events to raise awareness for the Movember campaign
  • Plan the annual Unveiloween (Halloween) and RxFactor (takes place November or early December), assume some planning in advance

Students Advocating for the Future of Pharmacy Committee (SAF-Pharm)

  • 8 student members (two per class year)
  • Have a passion to drive and propel the profession forward by contribution and implementation of SAF-related project
  • Organize and plan the APSA Industry Trade Show along with other events and projects
  • Throughout the year help plan initiatives

CAPSI/IPSF 

  • 4 student members (Any year)
  • Help plan and execute CAPSI and IPSF initiatives throughout the year (e.g. CAPSI
  • Competitions, IPSF Health Campaign, CAPSI Elections, etc)
  • Help manage the local CAPSI chapter’s social media platforms (instagram and facebook)
