Orientation is a chance to get acquainted with your new classmates and learn about all the great events APSA has in store for you. The Mint Cup
Welcome new students and thank you for joining us in hosting The Mint Cup! Sponsored by Mint Health Drugs, this annual pharmacy tournament will test your participation, your skills and your wit. Each of you will be placed on 1 or 10 teams in which you will battle against the rest of the faculty as we integrate a series of events into a year long competition. Be ready to take on the reigning champions from Team Black!

RxFactor
In November/December of each year we prepare for the biggest talent show of the year... RxFactor. Several nominees from each class will showcase their talents to all of pharmacy in this hilarious and exciting competition. Not only is it one of the most anticipated events of the year but it also is a huge fundraiser for our Movember campaign. Keep your eyes out for more details as RxFactor this year will be much different than any year before!

Run for a Cause
Run for a Cause
Get ready to band together with your fellow APSA members to run for a cause. In previous years, APSA has formed large teams to raise money for breast cancer, activism, and participated in Run for the Cure. Whether you walk or run we would love to have as many participants as possible for this event which will take place in late September. Stay tuned for updates on APSA's social media accounts.

Pharmacy Appreciation Month
Each March is Pharmacy Appreciation Month which means we have a busy month packed with fun events and informative sessions. Students are invited to participate in public outreach clinics to help educate our communities on a variety of health topics as well as the role of the pharmacist. Come ready to learn, participate as much as possible and advocate for the profession.

Blue and Gold
The biggest pharmacy event of the year - Blue and Gold! Each year around February, the classes are challenged with a new theme and asked to compete in a series of competitions to prove who is the ultimate class. Whether it is the showcase of talent and humour on stage or sampling some delicious punch, this event is one of the most entertaining of the year. You do NOT want to miss Blue and Gold coming in March!

Dentistry VS Pharmacy Hockey Game
Each year we engage in some “friendly” competition with the Faculty of Dentistry - all for a good cause. In the past, we have partnered with the Movember Foundation and Diabetes Canada to raise money for these initiatives. Stay tuned to APSA social media for updates.
