Relay For Life

Relay For Life season is right around the corner! Volunteers are at the heart of Relay For Life and we still need the help of many volunteers to ensure the success of this annual community-focused tradition that raises critical money for people living with cancer. We especially need volunteers at our Relay For Life event in St. Albert. Alternatively, we are also holding Relay For Life events in Spruce Grove and Sherwood Park.

Whether you are setting up the event, selling luminaries or joining in on exciting trackside activities, Relay For Life is more than just a cancer walk – it’s a journey. Volunteer roles range from 2-6 hours and include:

• Site Set-Up and Take Down
• Luminary Set-up and Sales
• Survivor Service
• Survivor/VIP Check-In
• Participant Check-In
• Volunteer Relief

To get involved as a volunteer, go to cancer.volunteerhub.com, select your region and find the Relay For Life event in which you are interested. You can then sign up directly for any of the volunteer shifts that suit your schedule!

Visit the Volunteer Hub to sign up for whichever shifts that work with your schedule.
